The Handbook of ATS Links was made to give you fast reference to all those answers that you might need on your travels around the forums. So once again welcome on behalf of the Members, the Staff and myself. Any questions or comments, feel free to drop me a u2u message.

Given the political fallout from President Bush's speech to the nation two days ago, it's now clear that more than ever before, the United States doesn't simply need change, it needs a hero. Someone who can rise above the politics, unite the divided nation, take charge of a tattered foreign policy, rebuild international relations, and restore confidence.
To kick-off the relaunch of AboveTopSecret.com's political discussion board as AbovePolitics.com we're running the U.S. Presidential elections one year early, and any member can toss their hat into the ring in an effort to become the hero that is sorely needed.

Basic Navigation
Now you're in the ATS domains, but where do you go? The site can be daunting to navigate so let's travel around and I'll show you the ropes. First stop is the AboveTopSecret header at the top of every page.
The
first thing in the top left you'll see is the Customize feature.
Clicking the text that says "Light" changes the entire site to
dark text on a light background. Clicking the text that says "Dark"
will switch it back to light text on a dark background.
Across the top you'll see a few links (from left to right):
Google Search - this allows you to do a basic site search using Google. For a more detailed search, you really should try the advanced search (more info below).
Conspiracy Search - links you to the Unified Conspiracy Search Engine, which is collaborative search engine built and refined by the members of AboveTopSecret.com as service for the online conspiracy theory and "alternative" topics community.
Gear - the AboveTopSecret CafePress store has great AboveTopSecret t-shirts, hats, hoodies, stickers, and more.
Blogs - visit the member blogs page. From there you can see the latest posts and scroll further down for links to all the member blogs.
Podcasts - the podcast page has all the various xml feeds to put in your favorite podcast collector, the most recent podcast listing, and a form for uploading your own podcasts.
Archive - full of great information regarding 9/11, ufos, John Titor, secret aircraft, and more. The archive is full of static pages you can spend your leisure time reading and learning about some great conspiracy stuff.
TinWiki - full-feature Wiki dedicated exclusively to all the topics that inspires the authors to consider "Tin foil hats". Topics such as conspiracy theories, UFO cover ups, extraterrestrial programs, New World Order, Illuminati, secret government programs, top secret bases, and nearly any other "alternative topic."
News - AboveTopSecret News Network (ATSnn) is an easy way to browse news postings by members and keep up with current events faster then you ever thought possible.
Politics - linking you to AbovePolitics.com (formerly Politics@AboveTopSecret or PTS), a separate forum for political discussions regarding a huge array topics.
BelowTopSecret - Chit Chat Subject Forums, Arts & Entertainment Forums, and Computers & Internet Forums.
AboveTopSecret - Conspiracy-Related Forums, Scientific Topic Forums, and Mysterious Subject Forums.
The Button Bar
This
button takes you to the main board page for whatever domain you are currently
on. The options will be AboveTopSecret (ATS), BelowTopSecret (BTS), or Politics@AboveTopSecret
(PTS). The main pages show all the forums, active topics, announcements,
featured topics, board statistics, and board staff.
This
will give you all the ATS member news posted items. It also gives a nive
listing of all the recent Board Business & Questions threads recently
posted.
Various
board stats ware available here such as member information, board information,
post-count history, traffic overview by year and by month, and a data breakdown
for each forum.
Hot
Topics is a shows the threads with the most replies by members in the last
30-day period. It all gives a listing of the hottest topics of all time.
From here there are various places you can get to such as last post for
the topic, general group active topics, and the overall forum.
Get
to the main page for whichever domain your on for AboverTopSecret, BelowTopSecret,
or AbovePolitics. See the Navigating page for
more details on getting around.
This
button will see a lot of use. This brings you to the most recent posts in
the domain you're on, which will be AboveTopSecret (ATS), BelowTopSecret
(BTS), or Politics@AboveTopSecret (PTS).
This
button brings you here to the Handbook of ATS Links (HAL). More good places
for information are the ATS
Freshman's Forum and Board
Business & Questions
Your
personal section to view any favorite forums and subscribed threads that
you have saved. There are various buttons around the forums that allow you
to do this with a single click.
This
links to your personal member profile that displays some posting stats about
you, current avatar, and messages people post for you. It also shows your
friends and worthy foes. See the Advanced page
for more details.
You
can search for members in a variety of ways using this button. The names
can be organized using the links at the bottom of the page by number of
posts, alphabetical order, registration date, or board staff first.
The
member center button is your tool to access a host of services like the
ATS Store (buy text colors, backgrounds, and more), Member Upload Space
(for avatars), Account Settings, ATS Customizations, Change Password, Change
Account E-mail, Manage Subscriptions, Manage Ignores, Complaints / Suggestions,
Draft Postings, and the ATS Handbook.
After
200 posts as a member, you'll be able to use this button to access the ATS
chatroom.
Why 200 posts? Well, we've had groups of members that only joined to abuse other people in chat, so by sticking around and getting to know the site...you'll also gain entrance to chat for your efforts. You also won't be hassled by spammers and insult artists.
Have
some news that you'd like to submit to the Above Top Secret? Use this button
to access an easy form complete with tips on how to format your article.
Log
out your account and kill any downloaded cookies that would keep you logged
in. Use this button to exit ATS securely leaving your account protected.
Other Buttons
Learn
all kinds of interesting details and information about the AboveTopSecret.com.
The basics, the motto of "Deny Ignorance", and more.
No
need for a separate media player when ATS can do it for you. All the podcasts
posted to ATS are available here to play on your computer at a moments notice.
Anonymous
postings are available. Either post one or read what's been posted. We don't
track these posters at all. They're the paranoid ones or just too lazy to
register. Either way...we still like to listen to what they have to say.
Breaking
News stories regarding alternate topics. This is the "one-stop shop"
for news junkies that want to remain on top of what's happening at all hours
of the day and night..
The
most advanced set of forums needs an advanced way of searching. Find what
you need fast.
Another way: The other way to get to the Advanced Search is to click the magnifying glass next to the Google search at the top right of each page.
